Details:
On or about Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, around 10:21 at night, an alleged single-vehicle drunk driving accident sent two people to the hospital. Representatives from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of North Frio Street and Medina Street in San Antonio, Texas.
Investigators from the Texas DPS said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the passenger vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a pole a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported two people in the vehicle to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Authorities have since charged the driver of the vehicle with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
Police are still investigating the accident.
