On or about Thursday, September 9th, 2021, around 2:20 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle dump truck accident sent two individuals to the hospital. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported along State Highway 13 just outside Harpster in Idaho County, Idaho.

Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the dump truck they were in allegedly veered out of the southbound lanes of State Highway 13 and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported the driver and passenger of the dump truck to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.

According to Google Maps, Highway 13 runs north and south through Idaho County, with the scene of the accident situated about two miles south of the Harpster city limits.

Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
