On or about Tuesday, December 1st, 2020, an accident between a car and a dump truck sent both drivers to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened along Interstate 165 near the intersection with Scottsville Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Police said two people were injured when a dump truck allegedly suffered a brake failure and lost control before it rolled on top of another vehicle. Officials said the truck was on Interstate 165 when the failure occurred, and that the truck rolled when it attempted to make a turn on Scottsville Road. Paramedics transported the drivers of both vehicles to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
State Police and Deputies from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office closed one direction on Scottsville Road to tend to the scene of the accident.
