On or about Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, around 10:30 in the morning, a single-vehicle dump truck accident sent two people to the hospital. Officials from the FHP said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 75 in Naples, Florida.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said two people were injured when a dump truck allegedly veered off the side of Interstate 75 and rolled in the median of the interstate. Paramedics transported two people from the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 75 runs through the area with a wide, grassy median dividing north and southbound traffic.
Police expect to release more information about the accident at a later date.
