On or about Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, around 3:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a dump truck sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Wellborn Road in College Station, Texas.
Law enforcement officials said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a pickup truck allegedly turned across traffic into the path of a dump truck traveling the same direction when the vehicles collided. Paramedics transported the drivers of the pickup and the dump truck to area hospitals with unspecified injuries.
Wellborn Road runs north and south through College Station, which is about 83 miles northwest of Houston, according to Google Maps.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
