On or about Monday, January 31st, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a pickup truck and a dump truck sent two individuals to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along Wrightsboro Road at Meadow Hill Drive in Columbia County, Georgia.
Officials said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a dump truck allegedly crossed over the center line of the roadway and struck a pickup truck in the oncoming lanes of traffic. A passenger in the pickup truck and the driver of the dump truck were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
