On or about Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, around 2:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and a tractor-trailer left two men hurt. Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Parkville Road in Park Township, Michigan.
Officers said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a dump truck allegedly ran a stop at the intersection of Parkville Road and Michigan Avenue when it collided with a tractor-trailer. Emergency responders transported the driver of the dump truck and the driver of the tractor-trailer to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the collision.
According to Google Maps, Park Township sits right along the banks of Lake Michigan, about 33 miles west of Grand Rapids.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
