On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a train and a dump truck sent two individuals to the hospital. Representatives from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Old Mount Holly Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Law enforcement representatives said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a train and a dump truck collided at a crossing on or near Old Mount Holly Road. Emergency responders treated two people for unspecified injuries after the accident, but it is not immediately clear which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in northwest Charlotte.
