Details:
On or about Monday, September 13th, 2021, around 6:00 in the evening, an accident between a farm tractor and a tractor-trailer sent two men to the hospital. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported along Highway 24 in Schuyler, Illinois.
Spokespeople from the Illinois State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified men were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the back of a farm tractor towing hay bales on Highway 24. Emergency responders transported the driver of the farm tractor and the driver of the tractor-trailer to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
Police have since cited the tractor-trailer driver with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident in connection with the incident.
State and local law enforcement agencies assisted at the scene of the accident.
