On or about Monday, October 26th, 2020, sometime before 6:45 in the morning, a multi-vehicle accident with a semi truck left two people hurt. Law enforcement said the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Ocean Highway in Georgetown County, South Carolina.

State Troopers said that two people were injured when an 18-wheeler and two other passenger vehicles collided on the interstate in the Midway area. Paramedics transported two people to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries stemming from the accident.

Looking at Ocean Highway (Highway 17) on Google Streetview shows a four lane thoroughfare that runs north and south through the area. Georgetown County is located about 85 miles north of Charlestown.

Police expect to release more details at a later date.
