On or about Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a log truck and a van sent two individuals to the hospital. Spokespeople from the WSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of SR 530 and French Creek Road in Arlington, Washington.

Authorities from the Washington State Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the van they were in and a log truck collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported the driver and passenger in the van to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in connection with the collision.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 47 miles north of downtown Seattle.

Multiple agencies are investigating.
