Details:
On or about Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, around 6:30 in the evening, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Investigators from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Indian Springs Road near the exchange with Stanley Chapel Church Road in Wayne County, North Carolina.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the Dodge Charger they were in allegedly collided with a log truck/tractor-trailer that was backing into a private driveway across the lanes of Indian Springs Road. The driver of the Charger was ejected in the collision. Paramedics transported the driver and passenger to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Indian Springs Road cuts east and west through Wayne County, which is roughly 72 miles southeast of downtown Raleigh.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
