Details:
On or about Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a hit-and-run accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle sent two people to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along South Business Highway 77 in Harlingen, Texas.
Officers from the Harlingen Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the motorcycle they were on was allegedly hit by a passenger vehicle on Business 77. After the initial accident, the passenger vehicle fled the scene of the collision. Emergency responders transported the driver and passenger on the motorcycle to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Ed Carey Drive.
