On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, around 7:00 in the morning, a serious school bus accident left two individuals injured. Officers from the Metro Police Department said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of South Dakota Avenue and Decatur Street in Washington, D.C.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a school bus crashed under unspecified circumstances near Dakota and Decatur. Emergency responders transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Authorities did not specify if the victims were on the bus or in another unmentioned vehicle.
