On or about Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, a serious accident between a school bus and a passenger vehicle and a school bus sent two individuals to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along Dan Jones Road in Avon, Indiana.
Spokespeople from the Indiana State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a school bus and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Dan Jones Road. Emergency responders transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the collision. Officials did not specify which vehicle or vehicles the victims were in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, Avon is about 13 miles west of downtown Indianapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
