On or about Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between an SUV and a school bus sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Route 36 in Young Township, Pennsylvania.
Authorities from the area said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when an SUV and a school bus collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Route 36. Emergency responders transported two people to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not indicate which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, Route 36 runs north and south through Young Township, which is about 82 miles northeast of downtown Pittsburgh.
