Details:
On or about Friday, December 10th, 2021, around 4:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a septic tank truck and a truck towing a boat sent two people to the hospital. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in St. Johns County, Florida.
Investigators said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a septic tank truck allegedly struck a truck towing a boat after it swerved off the side of the road and overcorrected. Paramedics transported the driver and passenger of the septic tank truck were taken to the hospital where the passenger was reported in serious condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 cuts north and south through the center of St. Johns County.
Officials are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
