On or about Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020, around 2:00 in the morning, an accident between a tanker truck and a car sent both drivers to the hospital. Law enforcement said the accident happened along the Bishop Ford Freeway in Chicago, Illinois.

Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a passenger vehicle allegedly struck a barrier before it spun into the path of a tanker truck. After the collision with the car, the tanker truck rolled off the bridge spanning 103rd Street. Paramedics transported the driver of the car and the truck driver to area hospitals with unknown injuries.

Google Maps shows the Bishop Ford Expressway runs north and south with six lanes, and that the scene of the accident is situated in the southern portion of the greater Chicago area.

Illinois State Police are assisting in the accident investigation.
