Details:
On or about Friday, March 19th, 2021, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital. Authorities from the FHP said the accident happened along Bermond Road near the intersection with Acorn Ranch Road in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said two people were injured when a westbound tractor-trailer allegedly veered over the center line of the road and struck an eastbound pickup truck. Emergency responders transported the tractor-trailer driver and the driver of the pickup to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Streetview, Bermont Road runs east and west with two lanes in the area.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
