Details:
On or about Saturday, February 5th, 2022, around 8:30 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent two women to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along North Canfield Road just outside Dunkerton in Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Deputies from the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Department said two as-of-yet unidentified women were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that may have been attempting to turn around by backing into a private driveway. Emergency responders transported two people from the car to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Dunkerton, which is about 144 miles northeast of downtown Des Moines.
Police are still investigating the incident.
