Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported in the 13000 block of Farm-to-Market 973 just outside Manor, Texas.
Police officers from the area two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer and seven passenger vehicles collided in a major chain-reaction accident on FM 973. Paramedics transported one individual from the scene to nearby St. David’s North Austin Hospital with unspecified injuries, while a second victim was treated for their injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials did not speculate as to what may have started the chain-reaction accident.
