On or about Tuesday, June 6th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 385 and County Road T in Hartley, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were taken to the hospital after a car and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer burst into flames a short distance off the side of the roadway. Paramedics transported two people to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 385 cuts north and south through the center of Hartley, which is situated about 71 miles northwest of Amarillo.
Police are still investigating the accident.
