On or about Friday, January 14th, 2022, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between an SUV, a tractor-trailer, and a panel van sent two individuals to the hospital. Investigators from the CHP said the accident was reported along Highway 395 near the intersection with Brockman Lane in Bishop, California.
Deputies from the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office said an SUV was allegedly struck by a turning tractor-trailer along Highway 395. After the initial collision with the tractor-trailer, the SUV rolled into the path of a nearby Ford Econoline van. Paramedics transported two individuals from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. Authorities did not specify which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the incident.
According to Google Maps, Bishop is about 266 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating the accident.
