Details:
On or about Monday, October 25th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a minivan sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Highway 57 in Chilton, Wisconsin.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a minivan allegedly failed to yield and was struck by a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Highway 57 and CTH E. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer tipped to one side, while the minivan rolled onto it’s roof. Both drivers were treated for unspecified injuries after the accident, but it is not clear if they were taken to the hospital or treated at the scene.
According to Google Maps, Chilton is about 35 miles south of Green Bay.
Police are still investigating the crash.
