Details:
On or about Thursday, June 24th, 2021, around 11:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent two people to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 10 in Beaumont, Texas.
Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said two as-of-yet unidentified women were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control and struck an SUV. After the initial collision, both the tractor-trailer and the SUV rolled. Emergency responders transported two people from the SUV to a nearby hospital in order to be treated for unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 10 runs east and west through the center of Beaumont, which is situated about 84 miles east of downtown Houston.
