Details:
On or about Sunday, January 30th, 2022, around 11:00 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 15 in Oak Hills, California.
Representatives from the California Highway Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the car they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked on the side of the roadway. After the initial collision, both the car and truck caught fire. Paramedics transported both occupants in the car to a nearby hospital, one by ground ambulance, and the other by helicopter.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 winds north and south through Oak Hills, which is roughly 76 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating the accident.
