On or about Friday, June 18th, 2021, around 6:24 in the morning, an accident between a commercial truck, a tractor-trailer, and a pickup truck sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Potter County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the exchange Lakeside Drive and Interstate 40 in Amarillo, Texas.
Troopers from the DPS said two as-of-yet unidentified people were taken to the hospital after a tractor-trailer, a commercial truck, and a pickup truck collided in a chain-reaction accident. Authorities did not speculate as to how the chain-reaction may have began. Emergency responders transported two people to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
