On or about Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a tanker truck and an unknown number of cars sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Racine County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Interstate 41/94 in Raymond, Wisconsin.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly suffered a mechanical problem with a tire, causing the truck to collide with a nearby tanker truck and an unspecified number of other vehicles in the southbound lanes of Interstate 41/94. Paramedics transported two people to the hospital with unknown injuries. Officials did not indicate which vehicles the victims were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 41/94 runs north and south through Raymond, which is about 21 miles south of downtown Milwaukee.
Authorities are still working to pin down what may have led to the accident.
