On or about Monday, November 16th, 2020, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital. Law enforcement said the accident happened on the westbound side of Interstate 565 in Huntsville, Alabama.
Authorities said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a car and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Two people were taken by EMS to Huntsville Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Police did not mention any other vehicles besides the semi and the car in their preliminary report.
Looking at Interstate 565 on Google Streetview shows it is six lanes, with a grassy median dividing east and westbound traffic. The stretch of road where the accident took place is situated in the far west part of Huntsville.
Authorities are still looking into the cause of the crash.
