On or about Friday, January 28th, 2022, around 1:40 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and two vans sent two men to the hospital. Spokespeople from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 69 in Madison County, Missouri.

Investigators said an as-of-yet unidentified 35-year-old man and an as-of-yet unidentified 33-year-old man were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into two vans on the side of the roadway as the victims were attempting to jump-start one of the vans using the other. Emergency responders transported both victims to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Pendleton, which is about 62 miles west of St. Louis.
