On or about Thursday, March 11th, 2021, a pileup accident with a tractor-trailer and several other vehicles sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 71 near the exchange with Park Road in Columbus, Ohio.

Investigators said two people were injured when a tractor-trailer and several vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident. Officials did not elaborate on how the accident may have started. Paramedics rushed one victim to Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Medical Center, while another was taken to Riverside Hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 71 and Park Road is in far north Columbus.

Multiple agencies are investigating the accident.
