On or about Saturday, February 6th, 2021, around 2:30 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers sent two people to the hospital. Troopers from the GPS said the accident happened on Interstate 75 in Crisp County, Georgia.
Officials said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when an 18-wheeler allegedly struck a tractor-trailer that was parked on the shoulder of the interstate. At least one of the trucks burst into flames after the initial collision. Emergency responders transported two people to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
Interstate 75 cuts north and south through the center of Crisp County, which is about 148 miles south of Atlanta.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
