On or about Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a minivan sent two people to the hospital Representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 near the exchange with Golden Gate Parkway in Naples, Florida.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said two people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly sustained an unexpected tire blowout and struck a nearby minivan. Both vehicles came to rest off the side of the road following the crash. Emergency responders transported two people to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
Interstate 75 runs north and south along the eastern edge of Naples, according to Google Maps.
Police are still examining the cause of the incident.
