Details:
On or about Sunday, October 10th, 2021, an accident between two tractor-trailers and a car sent two people to the hospital. Investigators said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 81 in Montgomery County, Virginia.
Troopers from the Virginia State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly rear-ended another semi truck. A third vehicle was also hit in the accident, but officials did not specify how or where the vehicle was in relation to the trucks. The driver of one of the trucks and the driver of the car were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 81 runs north and south through Montgomery County, with the scene of the accident a short distance from the 128 mile marker.
