On or about Monday, November 8th, 2021, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 81 in Wythe County, Virginia.
Authorities from the Virginia State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down I-81. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer rolled onto a roadside barrier. Paramedics transported two people to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Officials did not indicate which vehicles the victims were in at the time of the crash.
