On or about Thursday, June 30th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a sedan sent two people to the hospital. Officials from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in Brevard County, Florida.
Spokespeople from the Florida Highway Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly sustained a tire blowout and slammed into a car, pinning the vehicle against a barrier a short distance off the lanes of traffic. Paramedics transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from West Melbourne.
Police are still investigating the accident.
