On or about Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at or near the exchange of Loop 335 and North Western in Amarillo, Texas.
Authorities from the Amarillo Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer and an SUV collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. Officials did not specify which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of Amarillo.
