On or about Wednesday, January 27th, 2021, around 1:16 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent two people to the hospital. Spokespeople from the ISP said the accident happened at the intersection of Lake Shore Drive and Lost Bridge Road in Decatur, Illinois.
Spokespeople from the Illinois State Police said a tractor-trailer and a car collided under unspecified circumstances. The driver and passenger in the car were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary report.
