Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, around 8:20 in the morning, a serious tractor-trailer accident sent two individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Lackawanna County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the North Scranton Expressway (Route 11) in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Investigators said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and slammed into a concrete barrier a short distance outside the lane of traffic. Two people were treated for unspecified injuries after the accident, but it is not currently clear if they were treated at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
