On or about Wednesday, June 16th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and several vehicles sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Snyder County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Route 11 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the back of several cars in stopped or slowed traffic. The driver of the tractor-trailer and the driver of one of the cars were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

Route 11 runs north and south along the banks of the Susquehanna River in Selinsgrove, which is situated about 152 miles 152 miles northeast of downtown Philadelphia.

Authorities hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
