Details:
On or about Monday, November 2nd, 2020, sometime before 6:30 in the morning, an accident involving a school bus sent two people to the hospital. Troopers said the accident happened at the intersection of Sullivan Road and Route 85 in Salem, Connecticut.
At this time, police have only said that a school bus driver and a passenger were injured when the bus crashed under unknown conditions at the intersection. Authorities did not specify the nature or severity of the injuries.
Examining the intersection on Google Streetview shows that Highway 85 is two lanes that run north and south, while Sullivan Road is two lanes that run east and west. Only Sullivan Road has a stop sign at the âTâ intersection. Salem is roughly 31 miles southeast of Hartford.
Investigators expect to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
