Details:
On or about Friday, April 23rd, 2021, around 4:30 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital. Troopers from the OSP said the accident happened along Northwest Cornelius Schefflin Road in Cornelius, Oregon.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said two as-of-yet unidentified people were rushed to the hospital after an 18-wheeler and a car collided under unknown conditions. Photos from the scene show two vehicles a significant distance off the side of the roadway. Paramedics transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the crash.
Northwest Cornelius Schefflin Road runs north and west through Cornelius, which is about 24 miles west of downtown Portland, according to Google Maps.
Police are still investigating.
