Details:
On or about Friday, January 7th, 2022, around 11:45 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident was reported along State Route 2 near the exchange with State Route 91 in Lake County, Ohio.
Authorities said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control and slammed into a barrier before it bounced into a nearby Jeep. Emergency responders transported the driver of the Jeep and the driver of the tractor-trailer to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, State Route 2 winds east and west through Lake County, which is about 40 miles northeast of downtown Cleveland.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
