On or about Thursday, July 22nd, 2021, around 10: 15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler left two men hurt. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 95 in St. Augustine, Florida.

Deputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly sustained a tire blowout and struck another 18-wheeler in the next lane. After the initial collision, one of the trucks rolled, and the other’s trailer disengaged from the truck. Paramedics treated both truck drivers for unspecified injuries, but is not currently clear if they were taken to the hospital or if they were treated at the scene.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through the center of St. Augustine, with the scene of the accident situated about 29 miles south of downtown Jacksonville.
