Details:
On or about Monday, June 27th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident with a tractor-trailer hauling multiple beehives sent two people to the hospital. Authorities from the UHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Summit County, Utah.
Representatives from the Utah Highway Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer that was hauling beehives allegedly lost control and rolled along I-80. Paramedics transported the driver of the tractor-trailer, and one other unidentified individual to the hospital to be treated for multiple bee stings and injuries from the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Highway 40.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
