On or about Monday, October 5th, 2020, sometime before 6:00 in the morning, two people were injured in a tractor-trailer hit-and-run accident in Montgomery County, Texas.

Sheriff’s deputies have said that an as-of-yet unidentified female driver of a GMC pickup truck and the unnamed driver of a Ford Explorer were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly turned onto Highway 105 from Jefferson Chemical Road when it clipped both vehicles. The tractor-trailer left the scene of the accident. Both drivers were treated for unspecified minor injuries after the collision.

Officers did not say why the truck driver allegedly fled. Did they know they were in an accident? Was visibility an issue in the predawn hours?
