Details:
On or about Monday, April 5th, 2021, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left two people with minor injuries. Troopers from the WVSP said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 77 just outside Silverton in Jackson County, West Virginia.
State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when the car they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. The car became wedged beneath the trailer of the 18-wheeler in the accident. Two people in the car sustained minor injuries, and were not taken to the hospital.
The scene of the accident is a short distance from Silverton, which is about 46 miles north of Charleston, according to Google Maps.
Authorities are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
