On or about Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, around 3:00 in the afternoon, a serious accident between an SUV and a truck sent two people to the hospital. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 62 in Orange County, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a Kia SUV allegedly collided with a pickup truck that may have been blocking the roadway for a tractor-trailer to make a turn along Highway 62. Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV and the driver of the pickup truck to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Hoohoo Road.
Police are still trying to pin down what happened in the crash.
