On or about Friday, November 5th, 2021, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a box truck left two individuals dead. Officials from the MSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Pioneer Road and Territorial Road in Amboy Township, Michigan.

Deputies from the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the box truck they were riding in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances at or near the intersection of Territorial Road and Pioneer Road. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer rolled to one side in the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced two people in the box truck dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.

According to Google Maps, Amboy Township is about 116 miles southwest of downtown Detroit.

State and local agencies responded to the scene of the accident.
