Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 3rd, 2022, around 1:48 in the morning, a major two-vehicle car accident left two individuals dead. Representatives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported somewhere along Galveston Road in Houston, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Houston Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a pickup truck allegedly veered over the center line of Galveston Road and slammed into a passenger vehicle in the oncoming lanes of traffic. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck and the driver of the car dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the 9600 block of Galveston Road is on the southeast side of Houston.
Authorities are still investigating the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
